As an artist, I work across a range of mediums including glass, ceramics, and photography. My sculptures explore archetypal themes such as life, death, love, violence, and ambition, expressing what cannot be articulated through words. I create striking juxtapositions, such as a ceramic red balloon or a glass swing encasing barbed wire, to express a quiet urgency regarding issues of sexual violence, particularly against women and children. My visceral material interventions upon everyday objects are intended to provoke important conversations and to shed light on urgent issues.
